Make Waves VBS
Mark your calendars, parents… VBS is returning to SHEPHERD’S GROVE this summer! This July, we will be making waves as we learn how what we do today can create a ripple effect and actually change the world around us.
God’s Spirit in us is like a mighty, rushing river, and we will be learning how to let Him freely flow through us to touch everyone we meet. We want our kids to be connected to their purpose from a young age, and we believe at the root of their purpose is partnership with God’s Spirit inside of them!
Through fun activities, engaging lessons, and God’s Word, kids will explore what it means to “make waves” in their own lives that will influence the people around them.

Whether your kids are in elementary school or are still in diapers,
there’s a special place for them at Shepherd’s Grove.
At Shepherd’s Grove Children’s Ministry, we ensure your child’s experience is a positive and safe one. During our 11:00 am service, 6th grade students and below will learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, hands-on, and creative setting in our Fellowship Hall. Children can check in on our side door of Fellowship Hall at “Fireside Alcove,” before service. Here your child will be greeted by one of our team members.
Our mission is to help our children learn about Jesus and build a relationship with Him. Throughout the year, we have several family events, and encourage volunteers to join our team whenever possible. We love to share the love of Christ through activities and events at Shepherd’s Grove.
For all off-campus and midweek programs (camp, Beach Club, etc.), please fill out a 2021 Shepherd’s Grove Medical Release for your child in case of emergencies.
Forms may be returned by email to Tracy Coggins, mailed, or handed in to the church office.
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, taking care to make sure your child is always cared for by trained, loving volunteers and staff. All childcare events are led by CPR and First Aid certified staff who has also received our Child Abuse Prevention training.
Childcare, including nursery and toddlers, is always provided for Sunday mornings and special worship services. It is also available at special activities by request.
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
We believe that God has called us to care for and protect the children whom he has entrusted to us. All adults working with minors on a frequent and regular basis at IPC will be selected, trained, managed, and evaluated in accordance with the selection and training procedures and guidelines for conduct set forth in the Child Protection, Abuse Prevention and Reporting Policy.
To obtain a copy of the policy, or for additional information, contact the church office at 949.786.9627.
